Can a thrust bearing replace a radial bearing?
No, thrust bearings carry essentially no radial load. They are always used alongside a separate radial bearing on the same shaft.
What is the difference between single and double direction?
Single direction thrust bearings only resist axial load in one direction and will separate if loaded the other way. Double direction resists load in both directions from a fixed center.
Do you stock the housing washers separately?
Most thrust bearing series are supplied as a complete set with both housing washers and the rolling element, spare washers can be sourced against order.
